The Edward Collins Fund
for American Music (ECFAM) is an IRS Section 501(c)(3)
private non-operating foundation, incorporated in 1999,
that engages in tax-exempt activities supporting the study
and appreciation of music of the Americas (North, Central
and South).
A core activity is the preservation, performance,
recording, and dissemination of music authored by 20th century
composers.
At
present, ECFAM is focused solely on completion of a pilot
project that aims to restore the music legacy of American
composer Edward
Joseph Collins (1886-1951).
ECFAM therefore is not accepting solicitations
for funding, until further notice.
ECFAM is grateful for the support of many
individuals, as well as grants from the Recording Program
of the Aaron Copland Fund for Music and various
foundations.
